 There are altogether 12 block of flats that have been repaired and protected on all weather exposed concrete, plus a replacement of the adjacent tin-work facades. The work is done by Protector's own reconditioning team. Materials used for repair and protection of concrete are the renomated AHEAD products from the Protector assortment that has been in use for more than a decade. |

Sjoelingstad Uldvarefarik is a more than 100 year old spinning mill for woollen garments situated close to the town of Mandal in the far South part of Norway. As the main building was damaged by fire during 1945, a new building was build a year after in reinforced concrete. Later, the facades has shown increased damage due to reinforcement corrosion. As this old factory with all the original machines are a living museum, open for public it is important that also the facades are protected for future generations.
Protector`s Camur ZEBRA system was chosen to protect the reinforcement, and is installed as an integrated part of the new board sheathe render applied to all the walls. The Camur ZEBRA CP system is remotely controlled pr. telephone line. |

The Camur ZEBRA (CZ) Cathodic Protection system for reinforced concrete was developed by Protector in the late ‘90s. It has gone on to become a leading protection system and has been applied to many tens of thousands of square metres of corroding concrete, especially that found in car parks.

The Camur II system has been created for permanent and automatic monitoring of corrosion in concrete structures. It uses phone lines, mobile phone or internet networks to provide control features for data retrieval. Unlike traditional systems, data logged by the Camur II system is recorded and distributed digitally.
